i won’t pretend i didn’t go in looking for the leaked playboy shoot (which, nicely done, and i’m not even all about ‘lindsay is the new marilyn’), but //jesus christ// you guys.
for every post saying ‘i still love her music’ or ‘she’s so gorgeous’ there are five saying ‘she used to be so pretty, how //disappointing//’ or ‘WHORE WHORE WHORE’ or ‘how did the girl in the parent trap turn into this fucking crackwhore’ and seriously there’s a lot of calling her a whore in there, coupled with the fetishization of her fifteen year old body as some kind of womanly ideal.
(apparently bros are trashing her playboy shoot because she has ‘saggy tits’ and, well, look at them! what did you //think// was going to happen?)
i’m hopeful yet that she’ll turn out more like rdj than corey haim, but i’m not going to tear her down for coping poorly with //our// relentless scrutiny.
