this remains probably the best thing i ever saw on suicidegirls (aside from what’s zo wearing).

and yes i am totally crushing, and yes i’m okay with that.  rigel’s relentless charm permeated everything, and i crushed on that far more than what she looked like naked.  (although yes, also that.)

sg is ostensibly based around breasts, sure, but i never had the confidence to use the awesome social networking bits to actually talk to people, instead of quietly following a half dozen girls and keeping to myself.

although even there, being able to read their blogs and forum convos meant i didn’t have to extrapolate a personality out from under awful porn culture ad copy and fake smiles.  even as a lurker, sg had a powerful abiilty to counterbalance the ingrained sexism i was then only marginally aware of and say, no, ladies are more interesting than that.

not to mention it remains an excellent place to develop an appreciation for and firm grasp (hah!) of varied body shapes.  so actually, no regrets and no shame.

meanwhile i have almost a hundred followers now and how the hell did that happen.
