Why is one of the tags you put “french porn”?

short version, that tag is a (bad) inside joke riffing on this discussion, compounded when i discovered that french money has boobs on it.  i started using it as a blanket tag for anything vaguely naughty and/or european.

long version, even though i have like 188 followers (who //are// you people, and why is one of you //garland// and another one //anais//?!) i still mostly think of my tumblr as me talking loudly in the wilderness with nobody around to hear.  i’m either archiving things so i can find them later (research material ala warren ellis) or i’m posting bad jokes i know my twin brother will laugh at.  the idea that my tags will ever be seen by anyone still makes me doubtful.

consequently my tags tend to be somewhat oblique.  i didn’t like typing ‘kirk’ + ‘kirk/spock’ + ‘spock’ into the tag box, so i just started tagging kirk/spock stuff as #kirk, #slash, and #spock.  that carried over to sherlock/watson and ian mckellan / patrick stewart, which has given me a delightful blanket tag for all my slash otps.
