The closest thing I can think of to this movie is the Wachowskis’ Speed Racer, which had a similar kind of CG image overload, although it was only five hours long as opposed to [Revenge of the Fallen’s] nine.
io9 doesn’t quite understand the largely irrelevant plot of the transformers sequel. i mean, who the fuck cares? autobots and decepticons, they fight, the autobots win. whatever, it’s not that hard. there are decepticons the size of office towers this time. it’s awesome.
