seasonal section at freddies.  i didn’t have the elevation or distance needed to get it all in.  off behind that rack of fake nails and plastic spiders is two aisles of giant orange tubs and christmas lights.  to the right of the costume racks is four aisles of bagged candy, foam jack-o-lanterns, plastic swords, wigs, and slutty witch costumes.  behind me is a single rack of autumn / thanksgiving orange and brown table decor.

whatever’s left on october 31st will be on clearance tables somewhere else, replaced by fake trees, dancing snowmen, holiday barbies, and chocolate santas.  i’m glad i can barely eat candy anymore, because the after-holiday clearance sales are killer.
