Long story short: I don’t give a shit what white people think about my culture. They’re mostly incredibly ignorant and that’s their problem, not mine. I’m not going to defend my 5,000-year-old food culture to people who don’t see the value of the agricultural energy conversion which has enabled a largely landlocked, infertile, and poverty-ridden country to feed more than a billion mouths. I’m not going to be lectured on animal morality by people who are preaching from a pulpit of human bones.
