Do you know what I love about this? Here’s a boy  - doing a ‘manly’ thing successfully (playing sports) - and his role model is a young woman. 

Do you know how rarely this happens? While girls grow up reading about boys as protaganists, seeing men in power, and learning to identify with males, little boys don’t get the opposite benefit. They are taught to reject anything remotely ‘girly’ or ‘feminine’. 

Miley Cyrus is clearly “for girls”, yet here’s a boy who found something in her to identify with. 

P.S. Does he have a patch that reads “I won’t cheat”? What’s that about?
