the movie will probably not help with my resistance, but despite kirk having a ridiculous pinhead and not looking like either the actor or the character, some of the other figures are pretty good. sulu and spock look like john cho and quinto. sulu and spock, not so much. uhura isn’t bad, and the red shirted scotty that comes with the transporter set is nice as well.

so i’ll probably pick up a few of them eventually. nothing wrong with 3 3/4” classic trek figures, and they’ll go with the 3 3/4” galoob riker i forgot i still had.
