this cool space station playset is strikingly similar to one from my childhood. i have to assume it’s either the same company or else their designer had the same set.

the details are a bit different, but an elevated platform with dome roof, side colum, the little rover truck with gullwing rear doors…

the shuttle is different, of course. a red painted version of the shuttle from the original set can be seen in a madman comic as a time rocket or somesuch.
